岁阴穷暮纪，

献节启新芳。

冬尽今宵促，

年开明日长。

冰消出镜水，

梅散入风香。

对此欢终宴，

倾壶待曙光。



New Year’s Eve

By the end of the year,

It starts a sweet advent of the New Year.

Drawing to a close, winter night presses,

From tomorrow, the days are lengthening.

At the thawing of ice, the mirror bubbles,

And plum flowers are melted into sweet wind.

And so let’s feast the night away,

Now, more cups of wine! till the morning twilight.
