Peace in our time 共享世界和平
Each of us desirespeace in our time, and while it may seem an obvious wish, the fact that there is so much strife(冲突) in the world has led to this call for continued harmony(和谐) amongst people and a world without war. Often associated with(使....联想起) a former British Prime Minister Chamberlain who used the remark after a meeting with Hitler in 1938,peace in our time is an appeal(呼唤) found in The Book of Common Prayer(英国教会祈祷书). On this new day in a New Year, we take this moment to wish each of you cheer, happiness, andpeace in our time.
