I went to Shandong last week. I lived in Penglai, that's a city beside the sea. The sea is beautiful, and the weather is fine ^o^. What impressed me deeply is that the people, most of whom are fish-catchers, have deep faith in the Buddha and 神. There are temples everywhere,and many people are worshipping. They prayed for good phisical condition and the great job or study, or something else like that. My mom prayed the Nanshan Buddha(南山大佛), but I don't know what she prayed for.Maybe for me,or the whole family.

Let me tell you the story later,for I can't remember what I visited and I left the photos home.

I have never gone there.in my imagination, Penglai is a beautiful place where many people travel every day.

Good place it should be. I visited Shan Dong last October. My friends and I drove a car there. We visited 曲府、日照、青岛 and 济南. Among them Ri Zhao and Qing Dao have left us very good memory. In Ri Zhao, we went to a seafood market and bought some crabs, eels and shrimps. And we asked the hotel to help cook them for lunch. The fresh taste is still clearly kept in my mind. So yummy!

In Qing Dao, it's totally different from Ri Zhao. Ri Zhao is quieter, while Qing Dao is a busy big city. We went to see a church and a lover's street where many young couples were taking wedding photos. It's quite fun.
