的背景音乐选得极好，很平常的歌，选出一句，放在一个情景里，都十分煽情。这时的罗斯和瑞秋分别望着窗外，这样孤独的凝望，揭开了罗斯十年的单恋和两人又一个十年的情感纠缠。
Ross: Come here. (he hugs Rachel) Listen, you deserve so much better than him...you know, I mean, you should be with a guy who knows what he has when he has you.
瑞秋赶走了意大利猪男友，罗斯跟她说：“你值得更好的男人来爱，那个更好的男人必须知道得到你是一件多么幸运的事。”
Chandler: I'd like to believe that when the right woman comes along, you willhave the courage and the guts to say "No thanks, I'm married."
乔伊看到老爸出轨，考虑自己的性格，很担心自己未来也会如此。钱德勒对他说当你找到真爱的人，我相信你一定会对他一心一意的。"No thanks, I'm married."钱德勒最性感的一句话，而当以后他真得这么做的时候，就更性感了。
Ross: would it be too weird if I invited Carol over to join us? Cause she's, she's alone now, and pregnant, and, and sad.
罗斯12年来第一次约会，巧遇前妻。为了照顾失落的前妻，气走了约会对象。多么深情的男人呀！那女孩不该走掉的，一个对以往恋情毫无感觉的家伙不值得爱，因为你也可能成为前恋情呀。泛滥的深情好过冷酷的专一。
Ross: it only has to happen once. Look, you and I both know we are perfect for each other, right? I mean... so, the only question is...are you attracted to me?

Rachel: I don't know... I mean, I've never looked at you that way before.

Ross: Well, start looking.

ROSS: You are way too good to be with a guy like that. You deserve to be with someone who appreciates you, and who gets how funny and sweet and amazing, and adorable, and sexy you are, you know? Someone who wakes up every morning thinking "Oh my god, I'm with Rachel". You know, someone who makes you feel good.

ROSS: [long pause] She's not Rachel.

ROSS: number one: The way you cry at game shows. Number tow how much you love your friends. Number three: the way you play with your hair when you're nervous. Number four: how brave you are for starting your life over. Number five: how great you are with Ben.
为了补救缺点单的裂痕，罗斯又列了个优点单，列举了瑞秋的可爱之处。全是好话，却没有上一条感人。情人的优点不胜枚举，也不必枚举……
PHOEBE: Because she's your lobster.
PHOEBE: C'mon you guys. It's a known fact that lobsters fall in love and mate for life. You know what, you can actually see old lobster couples walk in' around their tank, you know, holding claws like. .
菲比的龙虾理论，龙虾一旦定情，就会相爱终身。很老的时候，都会爪子牵着爪子，幸福地在鱼缸里散步。
RACHEL: Honey, this will help. (hands him a tub of ice cream)
每次钱德勒陷入失恋的深渊，女孩们就会在他身边，喂他吃冰激凌，对他说贴心的话。对他的羡慕甚至远远超过了乔伊的艳遇。
Rachel: We should take a break. A break from us.

Chandler: That I haven't stopped thinking about her since the moment I met her. That I'm so fantastically, over-the-top, wanna-slit-my-own-throat in love with her, that for every minute of every hour of every day I can't believe my own damn bad luck that you met her first!!

Chandler: Oh, it wasn't a big deal. I just went to a couple of bookstores, talked to a couple of dealers... called a couple of the author's grandchildren.

因为有了朋友，生活中每一件小事儿中都充满了欢声笑语，丝丝暖意，它使我们不再有虚度的光阴，每一秒都弥足珍惜。
Joey: Oh okay, how about this one. I was gonna wait until the end of thenight to kiss you, but you're so beautiful…I don't think I can.

“瑞秋搬走更好，因为我本来就喜欢自己住，随心所欲。我是个独狼，独行侠，独身主义者，喜欢独处，独居，一辈子的孤独。”
Ross: Well, um, actually, I-I took her to the planetarium. That's-that's where we had our first date. Um, she walked in and I had the room filled with lilies, her favorite flower…Then, Fred Astaire singing The Way You Look Tonight came on the sound system, and the lights came down. And I got down on one knee and written across the dome in the stars were the words "Will you marry me?"
“我带她去第一次约会的博物馆展厅，她走进去，发现到处装点着她最爱的百合，舒缓而浪漫的曲子从扬声器里飘散而出，伴着花香散布在每一寸空气中。灯光暗了下来，幕布上开始播放满天星斗的幻灯片，一明一暗之中，我缓缓屈膝扬臂，戒指盒打开的同时，幻灯片里的星星已汇聚到一起，拼成了“Will you marry me?”
罗斯曾想象的向瑞秋求婚的场面，此情此景，谁能say no呢？
Phoebe: I just can't decide who she looks more alike, you or Rachel?
“你说爱玛长得像你还是像瑞秋多一些？”
Ross: Oh what are you kidding? She's gorgeous, it's all Rachel.
“完美无瑕，彻彻底底随瑞秋，像我的话怎么可能这么漂亮？”
Ross: Since Rachel and I we're doing really, we're doing really well right now.
“我和瑞秋经历了那么多事，能保持现在的状态已经很难得了。”
Phoebe: I know. I know. I know. I know, and if you try to make it more you might wreck it.(Pause) Or you might get everything you've wanted since you were seventeen.
“是呀，如果你要求更进一步，很可能连这种状态都无法维系………………………………但也可能，得到那些你从15岁就开始渴望的一切。(呵呵,这里我改一下年龄,因为我是在17岁遇到璇的)
Mike: I mean, If I had known the last time I saw you would be the last time, I... I would have stopped to memorize your face, the way you move, everything about you. If I had known the last time I kissed you would have been the last time... I never would have stopped.
“如果我早知道上次是最后一次相见，我一定会认真记住你的脸，记住你的每个表情，记住你的一举一动，把与你相关的一切都铭记在脑中；如果早知道上次是和你的最后一吻，不管呼吸多困难，身边又有多大的事儿发生，我都会一直吻下去，永远不会停。”
Ross: And if you think about it, I mean the reason he memorized all that stuff is because he thought it was important to you. You know, that's the kind of guy Joey is.
“乔伊是很笨，什么都不懂。但是，从另一个角度看，他死记硬背了那么多的艺术资料、复杂评论，都是为了和你能更好的在一起，只是为了能和你多一点共同话题。乔伊就是一个这样的人，会为别人着想，会尽全力的让对方快乐。”
乔伊是个这样的好人，面对喜欢的女孩，狠夸“情敌”的罗斯又何尝不是呢？
Chandler In a loving voice) Yes, I do. Now, I may not understand why you have to win so badly, but if it's important to you then it's important tome, because I love you.
“我实在搞不懂你为什么如此好胜。但是，如果输赢对你真的有那么大的意义，那么我就该和你一起拼命争取，谁让我爱你呢？”
Phoebe: When I was growing up, I didn't have a normal mom and dad, or a regular family like everybody else, and I always knew that something was missing. But now I'm standing here today, knowing that I have everything I'm ever gonna need... You are my family. (She puts the ring on Mikes finger)
