2、参与辩论的内容必须详细阐明自己的观点，谢绝yes/no之类简单的回答；

3、所有人均可以参与，想辩论的可以发表自己的观点，不想辩论的可以支持某个辩手的观点，点他的观点“支持”就可以了；

4、每个辩手可以多次发表自己的观点；

5、辩论以每个参辩选手获得的总支持数之和为依据，由网站管理层判定获胜者；

6、严禁辩手用马甲来支持自己的观点，管理员将根据后台统计来监督比赛的公正性；

7、本期比赛时间为11.21-11.30，到期以后由版主或管理员宣布比赛结果；

8、奖励：比赛正方、反方各设“最佳辩手”一名，授予“最佳辩手”勋章，同时奖励鲜花200元；

参与辩论的所有成员每人奖励50元；参与投票的每人奖励5元

9、此次活动最终解释权归英语家园网站。大家有什么意见和建议，请发到“家园事务”版块。

注意:

1、请不要选“中立”立场，因为中立立场别人无法投票，如果已经选了，请重新发一贴，然后发短信给管理员，删除中立的那个。

2、大家投票请不要点观点下面的支持，而应点辩手观点那里的“投我一票”

I tend to believe that we don't need white lies in our life. And my statements are as follows:

1. for the people who will be lied to

They have the right to know the truth, no matter how unpleasant that might be. And they have to choose their life according to their own wishes.

2. for the people who are about to lie to others

Your kindness may turn out to be a harm against everyone's wishes.

So, basicly truth is sometimes cruel but always necessary.

Life is not always full of rose.When we meet with some bad things,

sometimes we should Keep some things to ourself and

don'tpromote havoc by hurting people you love.

You know, sometimes telling a single lie may not be that hard, but the succesional lies that you have to make after it may become a big problem. Similarly, a single white lie may do no harm but good the moment you are telling it, however, look further, the potential consequences may be severe, and sometimes irrevocable. Maybe you insist that some life-and-death issue should be considered differently, but may I remind you that the patient will only be able to deal everything all right after they learn the exact days they are going to live. If a white lie will keep them happy for a couple days, the consequences will cost them and their lie tellers years to regret.

Truth is always what we have been trying looking for sometimes we even pay a huge price to seek simple truth ,lies whatever white or not are never said to be the things that we need to live by or an essenctial part of our life ,its somehow like the mistakes that we all knowingly unknowinly make on the other hand we all busted our ass to cut the chance to avoid that ,So at this point we need the truth

as jnney mentioned,there are too much things we can't control in our life .

life should be colourful and nobody wants his life full of depress,sad,unsatifictory.however, the ideal life is just a good wish .as time pass by ,you grow up,you konw life is not only beautiful but some problems ,unplesant things you face.you can deal with some,but the other is not decide whether you try you best or not. you also should face it.

so ,whatever the result . receptable or unreceptable. now ,youneed the white lie!sometime it makes you comtable ,gives you encouragememt. the truth is too hard to face. you don't need to konw all .maybe you should see the aspect of affirmative .an affirmative approach to the problem is very important. if you know the truth ,for some weak-willed people ,they may despond.

the point is although we persue the truth ,we can't know all. wecan't face them all .in some say ,the white wayisproper method in our life .you can't deny it ,the truth is you need it!

want to live a life? Then live a real one. When we say don't tell white lies and presentthe things what they are, we don't mean that we take the 'colour' away from life. If you really want the life to be colorful, then why deny the painful truth and the process of overcoming it are actuallly part of the color of your life? When you live your life in happiness based on real and unreal things and you cannot even tell, is that the so-called color of life? You will only live in a fake world created by unreal images and lose the chance to get near the essence of life.

besides, people calimed that there's no ideal life in the real world. Then why shut the painful truth out instead of facing it properly with a positive attitude? Attitude decides a lot of things. what if the white is found out some day? the best idea is to accept the truth and be positive.

I think the lie in our real life is inevitably. although we hope truth ,but ni real life ,always occur lies. and some lies are well-meaning. we need well-meaning lies.
