在瑞典，有撰写美妙的旋律的传统，所以这里产生了很多好听的音乐，音乐人也能够以此为生。此外，瑞典人都能说很好的英文，这也帮助他们的音乐变得国际化，所以有那么多非主流的精彩声音通行世界。虽然瑞典是一个人口稀疏的国度，但这里的人对音乐有非常大的兴趣，很多人在很小的时候就开始玩乐器。乐队灵魂Johan九岁的时候，所在的班上都已经开始学习演奏乐器了----除了两个人，而他就是这两个人之一。但他终于也走上了音乐之路。1995年，成立Club 8，96年出版第一张唱片《Nouvelle》。七年里，他们曾经在不同的唱片公司出版唱片，其中包括西班牙甜美夏日名厂Siesta公司，后来离开，选择了DIY的自主之路，自行制作唱片，然后交由不同的唱片公司发行，因为这样的方式可以直抒真我情怀。
