When I was in senior school I would go out together with my good friends to celebrate the New Year’s coming on every December 31st. We usually had dinner together in the dusk; if it was weekend we would firstly drink tea in the tea-bar or drink coffee in the cafe in the afternoon, playing card or some other games. And then we went to groggery or KTV to indulge ourselves as much as we like. We all were flinging ourselves into the hot music and releasing ourselves from the school work. At 12am or so we would be frolicing in the street, chatting, laughing , chasing each other and waiting for the new year. When the midnight came, we yelled and celebrated. We said happy New Year to each other and made everyone’s vow to god. We never went home until we all were exhausted.
Every time thinking of this, I would feel what crazy kids we were and how happy we were. It also dawns on me that real happiness belongs to kids. Now, I am already a grown-up, and there are a large number of businesses for me to think about. I won’t be so crazy as I was and the happiness in my childhood will eventually become the memory.
It is December 31st once again; here I just want to make a wish that everything goes well in 2009.
At last, Happy New Year to all of you. |
