I was driving to my office this morning, while a piece of news from my car radio got my attention. Cell phone batteries explosions happened recently have injured several people in China, and one was even killed. The presenter on the radio raised a question: What damage can cell phone batteries bring to us?
From the further information given on the news, I learned the person who got killed was holding his cell phone very close to his neck. The sudden explosion broke his neck artery and caused the death. So the presenter gave a warning to all listeners that don't wear your cell phone near your neck or chest when not using it. It can greatly reduce the danger of hurting people if it gets some distance from our body.
Until now, there is no research result shows the power of cell phone battery explosion. But all of us should be very careful about it, shouldn't we? |
