There is a kind of saying: what the man needs most in the world is a female confidant besides a wife. The wife will conquer a man; the lover will share a lot with a man; while the female confidant will mould a man. Will a man with a female be unfaithful? There was a man from a TV play saying “If you have got a pretty, elegant, gentle and virtuous wife in our life, how lucky it is to have a chivalrous while tender, courageous while degage female confidant.” This has become the classic lines and the dream of a man.

first, you must correctly define 'female confidant'. the female confidant is a female friend who could help you, comfort you, make you no longer lonely , when you are upset,lost or failing. so a man could have a female confidant. but recently, most people consider the famale confidant is a lover who you can make love with when you are tired of you wife, it is just a sex trader.

I don't think so. If the man can have a female confidant, the woman can have amale confidant.

both men and women need to relieve their feelings to someone ocassionally， if their spouses fail to meet teir demands, another person, usually someone of the opposite sex will appear in their lifves.

traditionallly, women tend to stay at home and look after the family; while men tend to spend more time outside where there are more opportunities to make friends, including those of the opposite gender.

as can be deduced from the above paragraphs, generally there are two reasons to explain why some men have femal cofidants: first, their wives can't meet some requirment of them; second, the deterioration of social atmosphere contributes to the occurance of this behavior.

to prevent this behavior from happening, on the one hand , both husband and wife should care more about each other to improve the ralationship between them; one the other hand, moral construction should be strengtherned to educate people to behave more properly.

what i ve said seems to be off the point.generally speaking, it s not expected to advocate this behavior, which would steer to breakup of a family.

is it a false to have a female confidant besides a wife?,in this world, both elderly and children, man or woman, everyone are required to have many freiends, we need friends to share our joys and sorrows, to a successful man . if have no remale confidant is not acceptable. only have a wife is not enough. face to ancient emperors .is it a false to have a lover besides a wife?

It's so lucky for a person who has her/his opposite sex confidant! To be honest, it's might, but I doubt it, because I think it's not an easy job not changing the confidant to be a lover!

I don't know how others define a confidant. As for me, a confidant is someone who really knows us and tries his or her best to support whatever we do mentally. In that case, not only men but also women are dying for a confidant. To be honest, humans hate being loney in the world. In other words, we need companions and desire for someone who has the ability to read our minds and share with us the deepest feelings and thoughts. From my point of view, all of us are looking for a person like that all our life. Some guys are lucky enough to find a confidant, but most of us, searching for all our life, fail to have one. I would say it's a gift to have a confidant.

every man do need female confidant.when they confront trouble in life or career, they could pour out their sorrow, meanwhile,when forturn meet them, they could share the happiness as well.

girls are born to be more tender,mild than man, so i believe every man should seek for a female confidant.

我同意这个说法，但是如果你作为男人不能控制好这个度，将会出现情感上的危机，导致你的家庭出现问题，当你决定结婚时，你是对自己对妻子做出了一份承诺，虽然我们生活在一个和人交流相处的社会内，但是我们需要理智的处理情感问题，红颜知己说到底只能是朋友。

I agree with this , but as a man if you can not control the right degree ,it will be have a emotional crisis .When you decided to get married ,you have already made a promise to your wife, although we have live in a society to communicate with others, but we need to make the emotional problems in reason ,the female confidant is just a friend to you .
