Yes, i remembered one of my english teachers ever said to me "if you can catch the lyrics from english songs, it'll not difficult at all for you to follow english speakers". So i just started listening english songs then when i was still in my middle school, now it's been more than 10 years. There was a TV program at that time called "Learning English by MTV", i awaited it every evening around 6PM, and i even fight with my bro just coz he wanted the channel of Sports News. |
thanks for the kind replies. canu guys feel and tell the difference between the songs and normal conversations? btw, if you can recognize the lyrics, or even remember the lyrics, you have chance to win in the TV program in Sg which is called "Don't Forget the Lyrics". |
4# zf87 thanks for sharing. en, sometimes the words are "unreasonably " divided into several parts, and some of syllables are stretchedmuch longer than normal speech to follow the pace of the music. i think i am lack of both the lyric vocabulary and the sense of melody, which prevent me to catch the lyrics. |
