lesson 51 the rewriting and in practise--Reward for virtue
My firend told me that he was very sad recently, his son's test scores had been come down, and things got to bad that he decided to help his son's learning. He began his help two week ago. First of all, he wrote out a list of all the things which were forbidden. The list included most of the things his son loves: Watching TV, play football, swiming, play tennis, and play computergame.
Yesterday I paid him a visit. I rang the bell and he led me into his livingroom. I was surprised to see that he was watching TV with his son. He was obvious and embarrassed. When I asked him what he was doing, he smiled guitily and explained that his help was too strict. he told me that his son's learning had been progress. So he had to reward his son occasionally. |
