| When we talk of cultural tradition, some people think that with the development of tourism, the cultural traditions can be destroyed by using it as money-making attractions to tourists. For this pointview, tourism, to some degree, has its advantages for cultural traditions. Tourism is not only a kind of economic behavior, but also a culture-related behavior. Travelling is a process of culture contacts and cultural exchanges. In the intercourse, it can advance to inherit and promote our traditional cultures and arts; it can advance to preserve and flourish the culture features of each nationality and in each region; it still can push to constructively explore and utilize and protect the ecologic environment and culture relics and historic sites. As the above mentioned, we can’t deny what tourism imposes on culture traditions. We know, in the scenic spots, we Chinese make every means to propagate and show our cultural traditions to tourists at home and abroad. While, on the other hand, we can’t do all of things on basis of money-making and ignore its natural course. We can’t twist the real face of our cultural traditions, though we want to add some new flavor to our traditions. We also can’t even abandon the traditions, because they are the precious treasure the ancestors left to us. Throughout the long history, we know the diversified and splendid cultural traditions attract the people at home and abroad, we should preserve and protect them well. |
