A few days ago, Li Hongxiao broke the world record for balancing benches with his teeth as he successfully held up 23 benches for 11 seconds. The 30-year-old easily surpassed the previous record of 14 benches. With each bench weighing 3 kilograms, the combined bulk came to almost as much as his 75kg body weight.

近日，30岁的李洪孝成功地用牙齿顶起23条板凳，并坚持了11秒，轻松打破了此前14条板凳所创下的世界纪录。按每条板凳重3公斤算，所有板凳加起来的总重量几乎相当于他75公斤的体重。

Coming from Tianqiao village in Chongqing, Li began performing a lion dance aged eight to earn money for his family. To refine his sideshow act, he started to hold up objects such as bamboo poles, ladders and benches with his teeth in 2000.

李洪孝来自重庆天桥村，8岁便开始学习舞狮，赚钱补贴家用。2000年，为了让杂耍节目更精彩，他开始练习用牙齿顶竹竿、梯子和板凳等物品。
