“DIY”一词从N多年前开始就为人们所熟知，全称是“do it yourself”，也就是自己动手做的意思，所谓自给自足，乐趣不穷啊。如今，有个新词叫“BIY”，虽然长得像是“DIY”的哥们儿，但大家知道是什么意思吗？

BIY：buy-it-yourself

咳咳，大家可能会说“当然自己买啦整天让别人付账这还像话么！”其实，BIY的意思并不是完全如大家所想的那么笼统，我们先来看一下它的英文意思和具体解释吧：

BIY：Purchasing the materials required for a repair or renovation that one has hired a tradesperson or other professional to perform.
