The youngest billionaires in the world always draw a lot of attention because of their enviable money and age. But on the other side of the ledger are the oldest billionaires, the ones who have spent decades building vast fortunes and now get to cash in as wealthy retirees.

In 2013, we have 17 billionaires over the age of 90, led by 97-year-old David Rockefeller(grandson of the famous oil baron). He moved into the number one spot after the world’s only centenarian billionaire, Walter Haefner,died last June at age 101. Further proving that this can be a temporary honor, last year’s number three, Albert Ueltschi, also passed away last October at age 95. All together, this year’s over-90 list comes to $79.5 billion.

2013年上榜富豪中年逾90的有17位之多，以97岁高龄的大卫·洛克菲勒（David Rockefeller，著名石油大亨之孙）为首。去年6月，世上唯一一位百岁亿万富豪沃尔特·海夫纳（Walter Haefner）辞世，享年101岁，在此之后洛克菲勒就成为了全球年纪最长的亿万富豪。去年10月，当时第三年长的阿尔伯特·乌厄兹驰（Albert Ueltschi）去世，享年95岁，这进一步证明该荣誉可能来得短暂。今年，90岁以上的富豪资产共计795亿美元。
