Down to earth It means “（人）塌实的”. Sample sentence: A. Tom is a guy who is down to earth. He take his life seriously. B. You can trust him. He's down to earth. He'll finish the work you give him.

( this is an good example)

B.You can trust him. He's down to earth. He'll finish the work you give him

(I would replace " down to earth " with words like " reliable" or " trustworthy " )

Alson, " down to earth" can be used to discribe a person who's out-going and easy for others to engage a coversation with
