Long ago, five brothers in China looked alike.

很久以前，在中国有五个兄弟长得很像。

First Brother was strong.

大哥很强壮。

Second Brother could fly.

二哥可以飞。

Third Brother could hear everything.

三哥可以听得见一切。

Fourth Brother had a Iron-hard body.

四哥有一个铁一样坚硬的身体。

Fifth Brother could hold his breath, and his tears became a river.

五哥可以屏住呼吸，并且他的眼泪能变成一条河。



Once,fifth Brother picked an apple from the garden of the magistrate.

有一次，五哥从地方官的一个花园里摘了一个苹果。



The magistrate put Fifth Brother in jail.

地方官把五哥关进了监狱。



The magistrate told fifth brother to get a treasure from Fire Island.

地方官告诉五哥，如果他能从火岛上拿到宝藏，

Then he would be free.

他就自由了。

Fire Island was on a lake.A dragon watched the treasure.

火岛在一个湖上，有一条龙在看管着宝藏。



That night, far away, Third Brother heard Fifth Brother call for help.

那天晚上，在远处，三哥听到老五的求救。

The brothers wanted ot help him get the treasure.

兄弟们想要帮助他得到宝藏。



Second Brother flew the brothers to  fire Island.

二哥带着兄弟们飞到了火岛。

They hid. Second Brother flew to fifth brother.He told him their plan.

二哥飞到老五那里，然后告诉了五哥他们的计划。



The next day, the magistrate watched Fifth Brother

dive into the lake.

第二天，地方官看着五哥潜入湖里。

Fifth Brother held his breath.

五哥屏住呼吸。



The magistrate watched as Fourth Brother led the dragon on a chase.

地方官看着四哥带着龙追赶。

It blew fire at his iron-hard body.He did not feel it.

龙向四哥铁一般坚硬的身体吐火，但老四没有任何感觉。

The dragon became tired.

最后龙累了。



The magistrate watched First Brother toss the dragon

and take the treasure.

地方官看着大哥把龙扔了出去，然后拿走了宝藏。



The Magistrate watched First Brother dive into the lake.

地方官看着大哥潜入湖里。

He did not see First Brother give the treasure to Fifth Brother.

他没有看到大哥把宝藏给到了五哥。



Fifth Brother came out of the water. He gave the treasure to the magistrate.

五哥从湖里出来了，他把宝藏给了地方官。

The magistrate thought Fifth Brother had many powers.

地方官觉得五哥有很多能力，

He would not let Fifth brother go.

他不让五哥走。



Fifth Brother began to cry.

老五开始哭。

His tears became a river that took the magistrate away.

他的眼泪变成了一条河，把地方官冲走了。



The brothers went home.

兄弟们回家了。

Fifth Brother said he would not eat from a strange garden again.

五哥说他再也不会在陌生的花园里吃东西了。
