Hunter Biden pleaded guilty Thursday to all nine charges in his federal tax case, in a surprise move on the day that an agonizing weekslong trial was supposed to begin.

此前，亨特·拜登于去年12月被指控犯有9项联邦税务罪，其中包括没有申报和缴纳税款、逃税以及提交虚假或欺诈性纳税申报单，9项罪名中有3项重罪和6项轻罪。起诉书称，亨特·拜登在2016年至2019年的四年内未能缴纳至少140万美元的联邦税，并通过在2020年2月左右提交虚假申报表来逃避2018税年的税收评估。

2023年9月，亨特·拜登因非法持枪被起诉。法庭文件显示，亨特·拜登面临三项与滥用药物时购买枪支相关的罪名，其中两项罪名与亨特·拜登在2018年10月购买枪支填表时隐瞒自己为使用药物成瘾者相关；另一项罪名则是在使用成瘾药物期间购买枪支。

Hunter Biden was convicted of all three felony charges related to the purchase of a revolver in 2018 when, prosecutors argued, the president’s son lied on a mandatory gun-purchase form by saying he was not illegally using or addicted to drugs.

He also faces a trial in September in California on charges of failing to pay $1.4 million in taxes.

The indictment said Biden “engaged in a four-year scheme to not pay at least $1.4 million in self-assessed federal taxes he owed for tax years 2016 through 2019, from in or about January 2017 through in or about October 15, 2020, and to evade the assessment of taxes for tax year 2018 when he filed false returns in or about February 2020.”

当地时间2024年6月11日，美国特拉华州的一个陪审团裁定，亨特·拜登面临的三项联邦枪支重罪指控全部成立，认定他违反了禁止吸毒者拥有枪支的法律。

Hunter Biden faces up to 25 years in prison when he is sentenced by US District Judge Maryellen Noreika, though as a first-time offender he would not get anywhere near the maximum, and there’s no guarantee the judge would send him to prison.

据美联社报道，判决后不久，拜登发表声明中说，他将接受这一结果，并“在亨特考虑上诉期间继续尊重司法程序”。
