Gordon: Howdy, how are you all doing?

Molly: Fine. I reckon you are the most polite person I know.

Gordon: You are talking with a southern USA accent. Are you from the south?

Molly: That's right. In the south people often say, "Howdy," instead of "hello," and they ask, "How y'all doing?" It is almost like a dialect of English.

Gordon: Doesn't China have like 44 language dialects?

Molly: I believe so. China is a vast and colorful country.

Gordon: You hit the nail on the head! Let's learn more about phone etiquette.

Molly: I reckon that is a good idea.

在美国南方,人经常说“Howdy”来代替“hello”,而且他们经常说“How y'all doing?”。
