the Great American Smokeout是一个一年一度的无吸烟日运动。它是由美国癌症协会发起的。有它的网站和出版物。这里Smokeout是连在一起的，而且是大写，不是smoke out两个字。

Smoke-Out, Smoke-out, smoke-out, Smokeout，smokeout都可以认为是对的，我都见过，只是尚未完全定型，但已经基本可以认为将以小写形式载入字典。该字源自(to) smoke out，后来派生为名词，首先以Smoke-Out出现于（新闻类）标题中（所以在我的听写中用了此形式），不久缩略为Smoke-out和smoke-out，现在又发展为smokeout.目前网络上用Smoke-Out, Smokeout，smokeout相对较多。
