　　According to preliminary figures released by Nielsen Media Research on Monday, NBC's live broadcast of the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards drew the largest audience for the television-honoring event since 2006. 　　An estimated 13.5 million viewers tuned in to the three-hour ceremony hosted by Jimmy Fallon at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. 　　据国外业内机构调查研究，上周末直播的第六十二届艾美奖为二零零六年以来收视率最高的一届，约有一千三百五十万电视观众收看了在洛杉矶诺基亚剧场由吉米-法伦主持的总长三小时的颁奖典礼。 　　It was also the first live coast-to-coast airing of the Emmys since 1976. 　　Some experts have suggested the "Twitter Factor" as one reason for the larger audience.

　　They note that more people may have tuned in to the telecast for a longer period of time as they made and read comments about the show on the Twitter website. 　　Emmy host Jimmy Fallon also incorporated Twitter into the Emmy show, reading tweets sent in advance of the ceremony during the live telecast.

　　Other experts noted that Sunday night's Emmy telecast also marked the first time since 2006 that the Emmys did not have to go up against an NBC "Sunday Night Football" game.
