When Mike was seventeen years old,he was as tall as his father.He began to borrow his father's clothes when he wanted to go out with his friends in the evening.His father didn't like this,and he always got very angry when he found his son wearing any of his clothes.

One evening when Mike went downstairs to go out,hisfather stopped him.He looked at Mike's clothes very carefully.

Then he said angrily,"Isn't that one of my ties,Mike?""Yes,it is,father,"answered Mike."And this shirt's mine,too,isn't it?"his father went on. "Yes,you are right,"answered Mike."And you are wearing my belt!"said his father."Yes,father,I am,"answered Mike."You don't want your pants to fall down,do you ?"



迈克17岁的时候，他和他的父亲一样高。他想在晚上和他的朋友出去的时候他借他父亲的衣服穿。他的父亲不喜欢这样，他发现儿子穿他的衣服的时候就非常生气

一天晚上当迈克准备下楼出去的时候，他的父亲拦住了他。 他仔细地看着迈克的衣服。 然后他生气地说，“这难道不是我的一条领带吗，迈克？”

“是的，父亲，”迈克回答道，”

“这件衬衣也是我的，是吧？”他的父亲继续问道。

“你说对了，”迈克回答道。

“你还穿着我的皮带！”他的父亲说道。

“是的，父亲，”迈克回答道，“你总不希望你的长裤掉下来吧，不是吗？!"
