你曾有过QQ号被盗的经历吗？这类网络虚拟资产是不是也应受到法律保护呢？据报道，深圳市公安局将把网络虚拟财产保护纳入监管范畴，将提供虚拟财产（装备）丢失、被盗找回服务，保障网民虚拟财产的权益，并列出了时间表。

After publishing the White Paper of Public Services of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau, Shenzhen has become the first city in Guangdong province to introduce concrete policies to protect residents' online virtual assets.

深圳市发布《深圳市公安局公共服务白皮书》，成为广东省首个引入具体政策来保护居民网络虚拟财产的城市。

文中的online virtual assets就是指“网络虚拟财产”，例如QQ accounts（QQ账号）、chat room accounts（聊天室账号）等通讯工具号码；online games（网络游戏）中，游戏玩家的online game accounts（网游账号）、虚拟财产(virtual currencies虚拟货币和装备)等等。对此类财产的偷盗行为属于Internet theft and fraud（网络盗窃和欺诈）。

Virtual assets就是我们平时所说的“虚拟财产”，与之相对应的则是有具体载体的entity assets（实体财产）。按照有无实物形态，assets还可以分为tangible assets（有形资产）和intangible assets（无形资产）。为了收益最大化，我们常需要进行asset allocation( 资产配置)，对non-performing assets（不良资产）进行asset stripping（资产剥离）。但若经济失衡，则会出现asset bubble（资产泡沫）。
