leec, so sorry to know you catch a cold. I wear nothing when I go to bed but I always wrap myself tightly by the quilt. a sour throat is the beginning signal of a flu, no matter what medicine you take, it'll last about one week, honey, have more rest and drink more water, keep yourself warm.
