歌手是smile 微笑姐妹 来自瑞典的二人组，当时在北欧声势很大，很多歌都是作为舞厅及广播电台的歌来播出的，曾经在欧洲各国的舞厅迪吧中点播率最高的歌“butterfly”就是这样才由此进入个大网站被转载的。因为她们很少抛头露面，一般多是只听其歌，不见其人，所以在国内很少有人知道她们的底，就是在欧洲也很少有人知道 蝴蝶 的原唱是谁。 在唱这首歌之前这个2人分别都有自己的乐队，她们分别叫 妮娜（nina） 和 维朗尼卡(velanic) 虽然她们的组合名称Smile.DK中含有DK两个字母（丹麦的简写），但Malin,Veronica及前成员Nina都不是丹麦人，她们全都来自瑞典。她们的专辑在丹麦发行，所以加上了.DK的后辍。 Veronica和Nina最初组建了名为Smile的乐队并且在1998年发行了她们的第一张专辑《Smile》。《Smile》受到了广泛的关注，特别是在日本。专辑中的一些歌曲被EMI收录，其中的Butterfly最终经Konami授权成为第一代跳舞机舞曲。从那以后，Butterfly成为跳舞机历史上最受欢迎的歌曲。 在第一张专辑之后，Nina离开了Smile开始单飞，Veronica取代了Nina加入到Smile。乐队名称也从Smile变成了Smile.DK. 她们第二张专辑中的"Kissy Kissy"也成为跳舞机游戏EZ2Dancer中的经典。 Ay,Iyaiyai Ay,Iyaiyai Ay,Iyaiyai Where s my samural?
