形容一个项目，一个工程，一件事情在进行中，可以用一个简单的短语来表示，那就是In the works.

这个短语可以这么用：



1. Several automakers（n.汽车制造商） have projects in the works to put a practical electrical car on the market by the approaching year.

几家汽车公司都在研究制造一种实用的电动汽车，计划在明年之前投入市场。
