那一天， That day,

我闭目在经殿的香雾中， I clsed my eyes in the incense fog of the Buddha's Hall ,

蓦然听见你颂经中的真言； Suddenly heard the mentra from your voice;









那一月， That month,

我摇动所有的经筒， I turned all prayer wheels,

不为超度，not for my salvation,

只为触摸你的指尖； but for the touch of your fingertips;





那一年， That year,

磕长头匍匐在山路， I prostrated myself along the mountain paths,

不为觐见，not for pilgrimage ,

只为贴着你的温暖；but for the warmth of being close to you ;













那一世，That life,

转山转水转佛塔，I turned around mountains and rives and all the pagodas,

不为修来世， not for earning my afterlife ,

只为途中与你相见but to meet with you in the way.
