Settle up The phrase means “结帐、付钱”. Another ways to say so are: foot the bill, pay the bill. Sample sentence: A. Today's dinner is on my treat(我请客). I'll settle up the bill. B. (At a bar, a group of friends are leaving. One of them says I'll settle up first and catch you outside.
