（3）倒置法

倒置法又叫逆序法，是指颠倒英语长句的语序，将句子成分的前部分放到译文的后部，或将后面部分放到译文前面，采用这种方法主要是让译文符合汉语的习惯表达法。

1) Such is human nature in the West that a great many people are often willing to sacrifice higher pay for the privilege of becoming white-collar workers.

→许多人常常宁愿牺牲比较高的工资以换取白领工人的社会地位，这在西方倒是人之常情。

2)And I take heart from the fact that the enemy, which boasts that it can occupy the strategic point in a couple of hours, has not yet been able to take even the outlying regions, because of the stiff resistance that gets in the way.

→由于一路受到顽强抵抗，吹嘘能在几小时内就占领战略要地的敌人，甚至还没能占领外围地带。这一事实使我增强了信心。

（4）插入法

这种方法是指插入原文中没有的标点符号，如破折号，括号，冒号等，用这种方法可保持原文的连贯性。

1) When I went to Yenan in summer of 1946, the Anti—Japanese War, and the Second World War of which it was a part, had been over for just a year.

→我在1946年夏天去延安的时候，抗日战争和第二次世界大战（抗日战争是第二次世界大战的组成部分）结束刚刚一年。

2) The second aspect is the application by all members of society, from the government official to the ordinary citizen, of the special methods of thought and action that scientists use in their work.

→第二方面是全体社会所有成员（从政府官员到普通百姓）都使用科学家们在工作中所采用的那种特殊的思想方法和行为方法。

（5）重组法

重组法也叫综合法，是指译者在准确地领会，把握了原文的基础上，打破了原文的结构，用自己的话恰如其分地表达出原文的信息，含义和精神风貌。

1) Dr. Smith resumed the activities of anti—cancer experiment begun in 1945 and financed by the Federal government as soon as he snapped from his original disappointment at repeated failures, which had resulted in its forced suspension.

→史密斯医生于1945年开始由联邦政府资助的抗癌实验。他由于屡遭失败而感到沮丧，被迫终止了实验工作。现在他又重新振作起来，恢复了抗癌实验活动。

2) The poor are the first to experience technological progress as a curse which destroys the old muscle—power jobs that previous generations used as a means to fight their way out of poverty.

→对于以往的几代人来说，旧式的体力劳动是一种用以摆脱贫困的手段，而技术的进步则摧毁了穷人赖以为生的体力劳动。因此，首先体验到技术进步之害的是穷人。

3.
