和 “芥末” 一起学英语 —— Leeway

Leeway "Leeway" means "additional time or chances". In Chinese, it's "回旋余地,给。。。多点时间或空间” When you're required to be in a meeting at 8:00 on the dot, you couldn't catch it anyway. You could say "Please give me some leeway. I can't be here until 8:20." Sample sentence: Tom always asks for some leeway for any appointments since he's a slow-paced(慢节奏的) person.

Give me some

Give me some leeway.

Is it right? It is a uncountable word, isn't it?

Ten days should be a big enough leeway to allow for delays
