句型篇

1． I just browsed through the paper. 我只是浏览下报纸。

Browse, 动词表示浏览，（牛）吃草；browser 名词形式，表示浏览器，浏览书本的人 IE 浏览器可以说成 IE browser.

2.What took you so long? 怎么那么长时间？或者说什么耽搁你啦？take 的用法很多，这里表示花时间。

3.I was tempted to get the latest novel. 表示我试图买最新的小说。（言外之意就是后来没买啦）。be tempted to do sth打算做。。。

4.Why don’t you read the business section. 你要不读（报纸）经济新闻。

Why don’t you ….表建议某人做。。。（和实用的口语句型）

5.We can swap. 我们可以交换一下。Swap表示 交换，做交易。

THOMAS: Is that all you bought then?

NADIA: Yes. Look, why don’t you read the business section while I catch up on

the news and then we can swap.
