Could I get an extension on the schedule?（我可以延后一下日程么？）

但要是请求对方给予许可或协助时，就要用 Would it be possible to 了（或者简单一点直接用If possible），比如：

Would it be possible for me to get more information?（我可以得到更多信息么？）

I am sorry about the short notice, but because of an emergency meeting I need to attend, our appointment has to be changed，would it be possible to reschedule it to this Friday?
