我国将在月球建科研站

China plans to establish a scientific station on themoon and has started preparatory research,according to a key figure in the country's lunarexploration program.

我国探月工程总设计师近日表示，我国计划在月球上建立一个科研站，已经启动前期研究。

"The next steps in our lunar exploration endeavorwill be challenging and demanding as we aim toset up a scientific outpost on the moon's south pole.In the near future, we will also send our astronauts to land on the moon," said Wu Weiren, chiefdesigner of China's lunar exploration program and an academician of the Chinese Academyof Engineering, on Tuesday.

中国探月工程总设计师、工程院院士吴伟仁9月8日表示：“我国后续探月工程任务还很重，我们计划在月球南极建设科研站，还将在不久的将来把中国人送上月球。”

He is now working on the planning and feasibility research for the proposed station and thelunar program's fourth step.

目前他正致力于推动探月工程四期、月球科研站等工程规划论证工作。



In China's most recent lunar mission, the Chang'e 4 robotic probe, which consists of anunmovable lander and a rover named Yutu 2, was lifted atop a Long March 3B carrier rocket inDecember 2018 at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Southwest China’s Sichuan province,marking the country's fourth lunar exploration and the world's first expedition to the far sideof the moon.

我国最近的一次探月行动是2018年12月在四川省西昌卫星发射中心用长征三号乙运载火箭成功发射了“嫦娥四号”探测器，这标志着我国探月工程四期拉开序幕，也开启了人类首次月球背面探测之旅。“嫦娥四号”探测器由着陆器和"玉兔二号"月球车组成。

The probe made a soft landing on the far side on Jan 3, 2019, and then released Yutu 2 toroam and survey the landing site in the South Pole-Aitken basin.

2019年1月3日，“嫦娥四号”探测器成功在月球背面软着陆，释放出“玉兔二号”月球车，开始对月球南极-艾特肯盆地的着陆区进行巡视探测。

So far, the lander and rover have operated for more than 610 days. Yutu 2 has traveled about520 meters on the lunar soil.

到目前为止，着陆器和月球车在月球表面工作时长超过610天，月球车已累积行驶520米左右。
